ABOUT

Pastor Marcia McAllister has been leading Beacon of Hope at Clearwater, Florida, since 2001. She began her ministry in Central America as a young girl. Her parents were also evangelical pastors, who dedicated a good part of their lives to spreading the word of God in communities where little or nothing was known about Jesus and His saving grace. Marcia has also led ministries for many years in her family's home state of Indiana. She is currently a certified Real Estate Agent in Florida and she is a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother of a loving family. In addition to being full-time Pastor and hosting one weekly radio program, Marcia's hobbies include water sports, tennis, golf, and other outdoor activities. She is the author of several books.

IN THE WORDS OF THE PASTOR:

We, at Beacon of Hope Ministries, are dedicated whole heartedly to teaching God’s Word in a life saving and practical way. We know that salvation through the shed blood of Jesus enables us to begin to live in victory in so many areas of our lives.

After pastoring for several years in Indiana, the Lord led me to relocate to the Tampa Bay Area in early 1992. I was involved in mission work in Central America along with working as a realtor for many years.

In September of 2001, several of us began Beacon of Hope which I began to pastor then and still do currently. I so love and am committed to teaching the truths of God’s Word that can and do bring healing and restoration to very many lives. We not only have a weekly Sunday service and an interactive Bible Study every Wednesday night but we also have a 2 hour LIVE radio show each Sunday afternoon. So many can participate in this and learn God’s principles for daily living in the blessings of God.

We are always dedicated to the teaching of God’s Word and we are INCLUSIVE…. All are welcome!
